New Game! Anime's English Dub Cast Revealed

FUNimation Entertainment announced the dub cast for its English dub of the New Game! anime on Thursday. The dub cast, under lead ADR Director Clifford Chapin, ADR Director Caitlin Glass, assistant ADR Director Brittany Lauda, scriptwriters Matt Shipman and Nikki Shults, and ADR engineers Jamal Roberson, Matt Grounds, and Manuel Aragon, include:
- Megan Shipman as Aoba Suzukaze
- Michelle Rojas as Ko Yagami
- Kristen McGuire as Rin Toyama
- Leah Clark as Yun Iijima
- Tia Ballard as Hajime Shinoda
- Jill Harris as Hifumi Takimoto
- Caitlin Glass as Umiko Ahagon
- Carli Mosier as Shizuku Hazuki
- Bryn Apprill as Nene Sakura
- Carli Mosier as Mozoku
- Jill Harris as Sojiro
Funimation will launch the first six episodes of the English dub of New Game!'s first season on Friday and episodes 7-12 on July 28. The premiere date and time for the simuldub of the second season has not yet been announced.
In the original New Game! workplace manga by Shōtarō Tokunō, the main character Aoba Suzukaze graduates from high school and joins a game company. The person who made the game that Aoba loved as a grade-schooler just happens to be Aoba's senior at the company. The story follows girls who work and aspire at the Eaglejump company.
The first television anime premiered in July 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. The second season premiered on Tuesday, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
