English version of PS4 tactical RPG ships on October 6
NIS America's official U.S. website for its Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance PlayStation 4 tactical RPG began streaming two new English character trailers for the game on Saturday. The trailers introduce Usalia and Red Magnus.
Killia (voiced by Mamoru Miyano), a young demon who intends to take revenge on Void Dark, sharing a deep fate with him. He dislikes making allies and and fighting together with others. Burning calories furiously fast, he needs to eat often and will, anytime and anywhere, whenever the opportunity presents itself. His quote on his profile reads, “...I'll never forget. Vengeance is the only thing keeping me going.”
Seraphina (Sarah Emi Bridcutt), the Princess Overlord of Gorgeous, who takes pride in ehr enormous wealth. She ran away from home because her father arranged a marriage of convenience for her and Void Dark. She plans to eliminate Void Dark. The quote on her profile reads, “All men are destined to dance in the palm of the hand of the Overlord of Gorgeous, Seraphina.”
Usaria (Satomi Akesaka), the successor to Toto Bunny, where demons that don't promote violence gather. Due to the curse cast by Void Dark's army, she needs to constantly eat curry, or she'll rage. But now, she actually loves curry. Her character profile's quote reads, “I'm being chased by the Lost. If you're with me, you'll be in danger.”
Red Magnus (Takehito Koyasu), the Overlord of Scorching Flame, where vicious demons gather. He He, a very wild demon, believes that power is everything and wants to become the strongest Overlord by defeating Void Dark. His character profile quote reads, "The Overlord of Scorching Flame, Red Magnus, will super feed you the highest quality fire!"
Christo (Junji Majima, who also voices the Prinnys), an Overlord affiliated with a "certain Netherworld." He's a superior tactician and adviser who will do anything to prevail. His character profile quote reads, "My name is Christo. For reasons that do not concern you, it is my duty to assassinate the Demon Emperor Void Dark."
Zeroken (Tetsuya Kakihara), a tiny Overlord who fights alone against the Lost. He has a side of frivolity and a train of thought that changes according to the person he interacts with. His character profile quote reads, "Now, stand back, amateurs! It's my sworn duty to fight the Lost!"
Void Dark (Shouma Yamamoto), the most powerful and dreadful Demon Emperor. His name has spread all across the Netherworlds as leader of the Lost Army. He is ruthless and cruel. Even his own subordinates are nothing but pawns to him. His character profile quote reads, "Hmhmhm... Powerless and unintelligent Overlords... why don't you all come at me? I'll take you all down on my way to killing Killia."
Majorita (Megumi Han), one of the Demon Generals who has sworn loyalty to Void Dark. She often kills allies and enemies alike, so that she can bring them back to life as obedient corpses. Her character profile quote reads, "But you can relax once you're dead. The Corpse Master Overlord, Majorita, will recycle you."
Bloodis (Masami Iwasaki), one of the Demon Generals who leads the Lost Army as Void Dark's right hand. It is rumored his power is second only to Void Dark. His character profile quote reads, "My name is Bloodis. It is a most excellent name that I received from Lord Void Dark."
The game shipped on March 26 in Japan, and will ship in the West on October 6.
