Waku Waku +NYC Festival to Host Mega Man/Mighty No. 9's Keiji Inafune

The organizers of Waku Waku +NYC, a new Japanese anime and pop culture festival in Brooklyn, revealed on Thursday that they will host video game producer Keiji Inafune (Mega Man, Mighty No.9, Lost Planet). Those who purchase VIP passes to the event by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. EDT will be able to meet Inafune in person.
The event is also hosting screenwriter Takao Koyama (Dragon Ball Z, Urusei Yatsura, Gatchaman, Saint Seiya), screenwriter Makoto Koyama (Skip Beat!, Saint Seiya Omega, HappinessCharge PreCure!, Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock), comic book artist Misako Rocks!, m-flo DJ Taku Takahashi, Baby, the Stars Shine Bright designer Masumi Kanō, 6%Dokidoki founder Sebastian Masuda, and Putumayo designer Shunsuke Hasegawa.
Azix, Inc. is hosting the convention on August 29-30 at multiple locations, including the Brooklyn Expo Center, Transmitter Park, Wythe Hotel, Verboten, and Brooklyn Bowl.
